American Girl Face Molds
Nine different face molds have been used for American Girl dolls. Starting in 1986, the first three dolls--Kirsten, Molly, and Samantha--all used the same face mold. This mold would become known as the Classic Mold and be used for many dolls.
1993 saw the first new face mold: the Addy Mold. The other molds are the Asian Mold (1995), the Josefina Mold (1997), the Kaya Mold (2002), the Jess Mold (2006), the Sonali Mold (2009), the Marie-Grace Mold (2011), and the Nanea Mold (2017).
Our collection includes six different face molds: the Classic Mold, the Josefina Mold, the Kaya Mold, the Sonali Mold, and the Marie-Grace Mold, and the Nanea Mold.
