Where thousands of different pins have been available at the Disney parks since their openings, it wasn't until October 1999 during the Millennium Celebration that Disney Pin Trading began. Pins can be traded with other willing collectors at the parks or Disney Cast Members wearing a blue lanyard with pins. Special Cast Members wearing teal (at Disneyland) or green (at Walt Disney World) lanyards only trade with young collectors between the ages of 3 and 12. Disney recommends only buying pins and trading for pins that hold a special memory to you as a collector instead of trying to collect pins that are financially valuable.
These pins were available at the Disney Parks. Most of these pins were purchased from a vacation to Walt Disney World, but a few were gifts from other vacationers or bought through eBay. We have eighteen pins in this section.
